Brazilian MMA veteran Joao Paulo Rodrigues suffered a pair of vicious knockouts this month.
Rodrigues (39-18-2), who has competed professionally for almost 15 years, lost via third-round knockout to Roman Ogulchanskiy (9-4-1) at United Donbass 2, which took place Friday in Donetsk, Ukraine. Ogulchanskiy put the Brazilian down with a spinning wheel kick.
Prior to the event in Ukraine, MMA Fighting reached out to Rodrigues questioning if he should go ahead with the fight just 13 days after getting brutally finished by Ludovit Klein, again with a head kick, at Oktagon 14 in Bratislava, Slovakia, on Sept.
