On last night's edition of AXS TV's Inside MMA, UFC president Dana White was a special guest on the program, and he had a special message for one Bas Rutten. During his segment, White told Rutten about the UFC's International Fight Week, and that he'd be inducted into the Pioneers Wing of the Hall of Fame that weekend. You can watch the reaction at the top of the page.
Rutten finished his MMA career (1993-1999, 2006) with a record of 28-4-1, with the bulk of his success coming in King of Pancrase. The Dutchman, best known for his devastating usage of liver shots, was a former Pancrase champion who engaged in battles against the likes of Frank and Ken Shamrock, Masakatsu Funaki, Minoru Suzuki, Guy Mezger, and Maurice Smith.
