In January Dustin Poirier got his revenge over Conor McGregor. At UFC 257, atop of Fight Island, ‘Diamond’ handed McGregor the first TKO loss of the Irishman’s career. The stoppage was payback for the TKO loss Poirier suffered to ‘The Notorious’ back in 2014.
Since that night there has been a lot of explanations from McGregor and his camp over why the fight panned out the way it did. McGregor’s time off, his conditioning and gameplan have all been labelled as likely culprits.
However, in a recent interview with BT Sport, UFC President Dana White shared what he thinks went wrong for McGregor.
