Things are getting a little more heated between Ben Askren and Jake Paul, as ‘Funky’ facepalmed Paul during their staredown at the pre-fight press conference before casually walking offstage, seemingly unaffected by the latter’s retaliatory body shot.

This is the first time both men have come face to face since their eight-round PPV boxing match was announced earlier in January.
Paul, 24, is 2-0 against unranked competition but has finished both of his opponents via KO. Askren, on the other hand, has never fought in the boxing ring but has a wealth of experience in combat sports, notching world titles under the Bellator and ONE Championship banners and being a decorated collegiate wrestler.
