The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight title will forever be the most elusive piece of hardware in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).
Within a stacked division built to pulverize, no one UFC Heavyweight champion has ever defended the belt more than twice. Just ask former titleholder Fabricio Werdum, who never even got to defend it once after losing to Stipe Miocic via first-round knockout back at UFC 198.
Well, according to Alistair Overeem, the title with change hands once again when he meets Miocic inside of the Octagon at UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland, Ohio.
