If things were bad for Rousimar Palhares in 2015 when he likely ended his time fighting for “premier promotions” by refusing to release a kimura in defeating Jake Shields at WSOF 22, they’ve gotten much worse since.
Friday, Palhares suffered a 58-second knockout loss at the hands of Aliaskhab Khizriev at Fight Nights Global 85 in Moscow.

Palhares has only picked up one victory in his five most recent fights — all coming since the controversy that led to the end of his time with WSOF.
