A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC’s August pay-per-view.
MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the matchup that Victoria Leonardo (8-3) and Melissa Gatto (6-0-2) will meet in a flyweight bout at UFC 265 on Aug. 7, at a location still to be determined. Leonardo announced the bout on her social media.
The matchup was first reported by Combate.
A former Invicta FC standout, Leonardo earned a UFC contract last year after defeating Chelsea Hackett on Dana White’s Contender Series.
