Vicente Luque is riding one of the longest winning streaks in the UFC welterweight division today, and he wants to add the fifth victory to his UFC record when he meets Leon Edwards at Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 107 in London.
Despite his failed run in the 21th season of The Ultimate Fighter and a decision loss in his UFC debut, Luque earned another shot in the Octagon in 2015 and scored the first of what would ultimately become four straight stoppage victories in the UFC.
However his opponent, Edwards, has an eight-second knockout win under his belt and enters the cage coming off an impressive submission victory over Albert Tumenov last October, and that’s why Luque doesn’t expect an easy night at UFC Fight Night 107.
