The Ultimate Fighter 14 winner and two-time flyweight title challenger John Dodson will be staying with the UFC for the foreseeable future.
According to Dodson’s manager Ricky Kottenstette, the 35-year-old veteran signed a new five-fight deal to remain with the promotion he’s called home since 2011.
Dodson initially joined the promotion after knocking out future bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw to win TUF and secure his spot on the roster. From there, Dodson became one of the top flyweight fighters in the sport, but after a pair of title fight losses to Demetrious Johnson, he decided to make the move up to bantamweight.
