Rumors have been swirling for the past couple of weeks that former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber would be making a return to the Octagon.
Faber, who announced his retirement after picking up a unanimous decision win over Brad Pickett in 2016, confirmed that he is, in fact, returning to the UFC and recently accepted a fight against an undisclosed opponent.
The fan favorite announced his comeback in an interview with former UFC welterweight title challenger turned commentator and analyst Dan Hardy, joking that Conor McGregor had been egging him on for months.
“Looking at today’s landscape, I just know that I can compete easily,” Faber said, per The MAC Life’s John Balfe.
