Undefeated prospect Shane Burgos signs with the UFC, meets Tiago Trator in Albany

A week after Zubaira Tukhugov was removed from the Albany card after being flagged for a potential USADA violation, undefeated featherweight Shane Burgos signed with the UFC to take on the Brazilian on Dec. 9, sources told MMA Fighting.

Trator (20-5-1, 1 NC), a former Jungle Fight lightweight champion, is 1-1 as a featherweight inside the Octagon. After defeating Akbarh Arreola in his promotional debut as a lightweight, Trator dropped to 145 pounds and lost to Mike De La Torre, bouncing back with a decision victory over Clay Collard.

Burgos (7-0) makes his UFC debut after racking up a perfect record with seven stoppage victories in seven appearances.
