The United States Anti-Doping Agency on Friday suspended Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight Jesse Taylor following a positive test for a prohibited substance. Taylor, who won Season 25 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” accepted a one-year suspension, according to a USADA release.
Taylor was flagged for clomiphene during an out-of-competition urine test conducted on Aug. 22. Per the USADA, “clomiphene is a Specified Substance in the class of Hormone and Metabolic Modulators and is prohibited at all times under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, which has adopted the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List.” The 34-year-old was scheduled to face Belal Muhammad at UFC Fight Night 121 on Nov.
