Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who was arrested and charged with alleged felony hit-and-run back in April, will not appear before a grand jury because the 60-day deadline to make it happen expires today.
Whoops.
Turns out the prosecution is still missing two key pieces of evidence. In addition to the medical records for the injured victim, dispatch reports from the Albuquerque Police Department are still outstanding. That means Jones is no longer bound by the conditions of his release.
