UFC lightweight Frank Camacho is feeling “very grateful” after a multi-car accident on Tuesday left him with a herniated disc in his neck.
“I’m a little beat up from the accident, and I’m absolutely heartbroken to have to withdraw from my fight Saturday at UFC 263,” Camacho wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of himself in what appears to be a hospital. “But I’m very grateful to walk away from the accident in one piece, and I know this is just a detour in my fighting career.
Camacho, 32, apologized to Matt Frevola, his scheduled opponent at UFC 263, for withdrawing from the fight.
