The National Foundation on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition has announced Ike Lawrence Epstein, UFC Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as their newest member to its Board of Directors. Mr. Epstein was recommended by U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and appointed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell to the congressionally chartered National Foundation.
As the official foundation of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, the National Foundation is the only congressionally chartered nonprofit with the sole focus of helping more Americans be active, play sports, and eat healthy.
