UFC's Amanda Ribas says it ‘hurt so bad’ to accept two-year USADA suspension

Amanda Ribas accepted a two-year USADA suspension after failing an out-of-competition drug test ahead of her UFC debut, but that doesn’t mean she admits she did it.

The Brazilian strawweight, who was matched up against Juliana Lima at the TUF 25 Finale card in July 2017 when she tested positive for ostarine, spoke with MMA Fighting a day after the 24-month suspension was officially announced by USADA.

Ribas requested her supplements and medicine to be tested by the anti-doping agency after the illegal substance was found in one of her tests, and the result surprised her.
