Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight Muslim Salikhov was notified about a potential USADA violation on Friday, stemming from an out-of-competition drug test conducted on June 7 in Russia.
Salikhov (14-2) did not have a fight officially booked or announced, but the Wushu Sanda specialist had posted about his preparation for a UFC fight on his Instagram earlier this week, looking to build upon the momentum from his emphatic knockout of Ricky Rainey in April.
However, the Russian “King of Kung Fu” is now potentially facing a USADA suspension right in the prime of his mixed martial arts career.
