Matt Hamill is making a comeback and he’ll be doing so with some gold on the line.
The UFC veteran will take on Teddy Ash for the Unified MMA light heavyweight title in the main event of Unified 33 on May 11 in Enoch, Alberta, Canada, the promotion announced Thursday.
Hamill (12-8) is most known for being a pioneer as a deaf athlete who had a successful run in the UFC. The upstate New York resident was a three-time Division III national champion in wrestling. Hamill, 41, was making a push to be on the upcoming UFC Utica card, since he currently lives in the area.
