MMA promotions are scrambling to find solutions on how to put on events during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Brazil’s Federal Fight came up with an unusual one: Drive-in MMA.
A 470-car drive-in place was set up earlier this year to hold concerts and other events while gatherings are still prohibited due to the health crisis, and fight fans were able to attend a MMA event in a safer manner Saturday night.
Federal Fight 2 was headlined by former UFC heavyweight Guto Inocente, who scored a one-punch knockout over Flavio Magon to capture the vacant heavyweight belt.
