UFC veteran called out of work to go to jail because it paid more

who has more time than money.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Bubba McDaniel, who made a name for himself on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17, was sent to jail last week after cops pulled him over for not wearing his seat belt.

Why didn't "The Menace" just pay the $159 ticket and move on with his life?

Because it was cheaper to spend a day in jail, where he got three hot meals and a few hundred bucks to put toward his ticket. It sure beats the $60 he would have made at work that day doing manual labor in the hot sun.
