After a six-year hiatus, Fabio Maldonado will return to his roots as he accepted to face Robson Oliveira in a boxing match on February 27, in Brazil, as Globo Esporte reported.
Following a 5-6 UFC run which ended with two consecutive losses to Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Corey Anderson, Maldonado will fight in the ring again, but this time as a heavyweight in a 10-round fight in his home state of Sao Paulo. He remains undefeated in the sport, with a record of 22 wins and 22 KO's. Oliveira, a muay thai practicioner, is only 3-0.
