Former UFC heavyweight Juan Adams could potentially get his shot in Professional Fighters League later this month.
Adams announced via Facebook that he has signed with the promotion as an alternate and will weigh in ahead of the PFL 5 event on June 24. PFL 5 takes place at Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta and features primarily heavyweight and featherweight competitors in the second regular season event for both weight classes.

“Just signed the contract for [PFL]. I will be an alternate, meaning that if anyone can’t fight for whatever reason i get my shot,” Adams wrote.
