The winner of the first Brazilian “Ultimate Fighter” is headed to the PFL.
Cezar Ferreria, an early star of the promotion’s push into Brazil, has signed a deal for the tournament-based promotion’s third season as a light heavyweight, PFL spokesperson Greg Savage confirmed to MMA Fighting.
Ferreira is expected to debut in June against an opponent to be determined.
The 35-year-old fighter most recently fought this past July, when he suffered a decision setback against Marvin Vettori at UFC Sacramento, marking his second consecutive octagon defeat.
Injuries have hindered Ferreira’s momentum throughout his octagon career.
