Tim Means went on “autopilot” for much of the third round after Nicolas Dalby cracked him with a right hand. But his body work and grappling advantage in the first two rounds paid dividends when the final scorecards were tallied, with judges awarding him unanimous 29-28 scores at UFC Vegas 30.
Means’ veteran moves were a stark contrast to the heavy-punching (and heavy breathing) Dalby, who repeatedly threw himself into his opponent and swung for the fences. Much of the fight was contested up close and personal as the two battled for position in the clinch.
