Ovince Saint Preux was a step behind at every moment of UFC Vegas 30’s co-headliner and was stopped by a Tanner Boser more than happy to seize the initiative after a pair of losses.
Saint Preux had little urgency for the first five minutes of the fight, taking three minutes to counter the kicks that repeatedly slammed into his thigh. After he was unable to keep Boser on the canvas in the second, he was caught by a flurry of punches that took his legs from him.
The official time of stoppage was 2:31 of the second round for the heavyweight contest, which marked Saint Preux’s second setback in the big-man division after a loss to Ben Rothwell.
