The former Rizin light heavyweight champ scored a knockout win over ex-UFC light heavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir 49 seconds into the second round of their matchup. Prochazka landed 33 significant strikes during the bout, giving him a significant strike landing rate of 5.67 strikes per minute.
Sean O’Connell holds the current UFC light heavyweight record for significant strikes landed per minute with a minimum of five UFC fights. O’Connell ended his UFC career with 5.46 significant strikes landed per minute.
Prochazka’s second trip to the octagon happened on Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 25.
