UFC Vegas 23 main card fight scratched due to COVID-19 protocols

The UFC Vegas 23 main card has just lost a fight.

Middleweight prospects Kyle Daukaus and Aliaskhab Khizriev will no longer be fighting on this Saturday’s card due to COVID-19 protocols. No further details were revealed by UFC officials, but the expectation is that we’ll see this fight rescheduled.

Daukaus (10-1) lost his UFC debut in a competitive and entertaining three-round battle with fellow prospect Brendan Allen. He notched his first win inside the Octagon via decision against Dustin Stoltzfus at UFC 255. Kyle is the younger brother of top-10 ranked UFC heavyweight contender Chris Daukaus,

Khizriev (13-0) was set to make his UFC debut after winning in just 50 seconds against Henrique Shiguemoto on Dana White’s Contender Series.
