With all but one fight going to the judges’ scorecards on the nine-fight UFC Vegas 20 card, competition for bonuses wasn’t steep.
Just three fighters walked away with additional $50,000 checks on a fight filled with tactical, if lackluster, bouts that required little intervention from referees.
The night’s standout for action, a bantamweight rematch between Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera, took home “Fight of the Night” honors for a gutsy three-round affair. Munhoz tenderized Rivera’s calf early, but Rivera managed to hang in there and throw heavy leather. Munhoz wound up with the decision.
