Four fighters took home $50,00 performance bonuses after UFC Vegas 17, including headliner Stephen Thompson.
Thompson picked up his seventh UFC performance bonus with a shutout over Geoff Neal in the main event of Saturday’s fight card at UFC APEX. The two-time title challenger turned in a vintage performance to make a successful return from an injury layoff from two broken hands.
Finishers captured the remainder of disclosed bonuses handed out on fight night. Three bouts before the main event, Rob Font returned from his own layoff courtesy of a torn ACL with a highlight-reel knockout of one-time title challenger Marlon Moraes.
