Heading into UFC Uruguay, reigning flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko was on a mission to avenge her 2010 loss to Liz Carmouche.
Not only did she defend her title, but she did so in incredibly dominant fashion as she stifled everything Carmouche threw at her en route to an easy 50-45 decision across the board.
This performance marked “The Bullet’s” second defense of her 125-pound crown after previously knocking out Jessica Eye at UFC 238 in June. For Carmocuhe, this setback snapped her two fight win streak.
