- Says he’s recovering; swelling is going down on foot.
- Why’d you stop wrestling after the 1st round? DC says that wasn’t a part of the plan. His coaches wanted him to go for more takedowns.
- DC stated that he kept striking with Gus because he simply got settled into the fight. He meant it when he said he could beat Gustafsson standing. DC is confident in his ability and believes in his coaches.
- DC also said that when he was dropped, it was because of Gus’s follow up right hook, not the initial knee.
