Joanna Jedrzejczyk erased any doubt that she’s ready for her next headlining opportunity.
The former strawweight champion weighed in at 115.5 pounds at Friday’s weigh-ins for UFC Tampa, putting a halt to any talks that she would come in heavy for Saturday’s main event against Michelle Waterson.
Reports emerged earlier in the week that Jedrzejczyk had informed UFC officials she would not be able to cut down to the 116-pound limit and that she had requested a catchweight affair with Waterson, who was not planning to accommodate that request.
