The UFC lightweight division just got more stacked.
Justin Gaethje, who held the World Series of Fighting 155-pound championship for three years, has officially signed with the UFC, the fighter announced Wednesday night on Twitter.
The UFC has yet to officially announce a date and opponent for Gaethje’s promotional debut.
Gaethje will enter the Octagon for the first time holding a perfect 17-0 record with only two wins coming by way of decision.
The 28-year-old lightweight was one of the faces of WSOF, winning 10 fights inside the WSOF cage with eight knockouts and one submission, including stoppages over Luis Palomino (twice), Nick Newell, Dan Lauzon and Gesias Cavalcante.
