We're nearing 5 full years since Alistair Overeem made his UFC debut. The former Strikeforce HW champion headlined UFC 141 against none other than Brock Lesnar, on a special Friday night PPV (because December 31st was a Saturday that year). It was Lesnar's first fight since losing his title to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121, and another bout with diverticulitis would cancel a UFC 131 showdown with Junior dos Santos.
Overeem vs. Lesnar wasn't close, and it was the body work of Alistair that eventually crumbled Brock for good.
