The UFC Rio Rancho card is in progress and the company’s #12 ranked flyweight, Montana De La Rosa, just took a unanimous decision over the #13 ranked, Mara Romero Borella. The first round was pretty close, but then DLR ran away with the second and third. DLR has now won four of her last five and continues to climb the ranks at 125-pounds. Before that, UFC newcomer Brok Weaver made good on his debut, but not in the way he had wanted to. His opponent, Rodrigo Vargas, landed a brutal illegal knee as Weaver was sitting down, resulting in the first-round disqualification.
