UFC releases statement on 'suspect' Jon Jones after hit-and-run car accident

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has its hands full with its uber-talented Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones.

Less than one month out from a world title fight against Anthony Johnson in the main event of UFC 187, which takes place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 23, 2015, "Bones" is a "suspect" in a hit-and-run car crash in Albuquerque, N.M., that sent a 20-something pregnant female to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Not a good look.

In the wake of what could only be considered a wild Sunday littered with speculation, UFC issued a statement at the stroke of midnight:

"We are aware that the Albuquerque Police Department is interested in speaking to Jon Jones regarding his possible involvement in a motor vehicle accident.
