UFC releases statement on COVID-19 health and safety measures

Earlier today the UFC announced that it would be hosting three events at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, from May 9 to May 16.

Following this announcement, the UFC released a statement on their updated health and safety guidelines, with all athletes and staff being required to adhere to new ‘social distancing’ measures as well as temperature checks and advanced medical screenings.

The UFC didn’t state that they would be testing for COVID-19 but assured the public that health and safety is their No. 1 priority.
