The Ultimate Fighting Championship has significantly trimmed its roster, as the Las Vegas-based promotion recently released 14 fighters.
Among the most prominent cuts were featherweight Hatsu Hioki, light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo and and featherweight Robbie Peralta. The Twitter account UFCFIGHTERSiNFO was the first to reveal that the fighters were no longer present on UFC.com, and MMAFighting.com subsequently confirmed the releases with a promotion official.
The other fighters no longer with the UFC include: welterweights Wendell de Oliveira Marques, Dhiego Lima, Luiz Jorge Dutra Jr.
