One of UFC's longest serving veterans has been suspended following a red flag by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
UFC announced Friday (Dec. 4, 2015) that Brazilian lightweight fighter Gleison Tibau has been "provisionally suspended" due to a potential failed out-of-competition drug test by their independent administrator, USADA.
The mixed martial arts (MMA) company posted a statement on their website a short time ago:
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has notified both Gleison Tibau and UFC that he has been provisionally suspended due to a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition test.
