Mackenzie Dern became a mother for the first time on Sunday.
The UFC competitor announced the birth of her baby daughter, Moa, in an Instagram post on Monday evening.
“A little late, stubborn, American/Brazilian, beautiful, perfect, God’s gift and our family’s biggest pride!” Dern wrote. “Delivery was smooth and I had the most important people by my side! Welcome here my baby girl! We love you so much!”
Dern revealed her pregnancy in February while adding that she “can’t wait to be back in the ring.” The 26-year-old is 7-0 in her professional career, a record that includes a pair of wins in the UFC.
