Andrea Lee was back to doing what she loves, and it showed.
The UFC flyweight from Texas was unfortunately in the headlines over the past several months due to an alleged domestic violence incident by her husband.
Sunday, though, the fighter returned to action and looked sharp. Lee used high-energy output to outpace a game Ashlee Evans-Smith at UFC Phoenix and improve to 2-0 in the UFC. The judges’ scores at Talking Stick Arena were 30-27 across the board for a unanimous decision.
The tone was set in the opening round, as Lee used good movement to dart in and out and land punches in combos to both the head and body.
