Two fighters have been issued extended medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC Philadelphia.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission released the event’s finalized medical suspension report on Monday.
Light heavyweight winner Paul Craig, who defeated Kennedy Nzechukwu via harrowing third-round submission, and strawweight veteran Jessica Aguilar, who suffered a decision loss to Marina Rodriguez, were the two fighters issued potentially indefinite suspensions by the commission. As a result of potential damage sustained in their respective contests, both Craig and Aguilar will be forced to seek medical clearance before returning to active competition, per commission officials.
