Omari Akhmedov is no longer on the UFC roster, multiple people with knowledge of the situation told MMA Fighting.
The American Top Team fighter has parted ways with the company after a split decision loss to Brad Tavares this past Saturday at UFC 264 in Las Vegas, which dropped his overall UFC record to 9-5-1 with two “Fight of the Night” bonuses to his credit.
Akhmedov (21-6-1) competed under the UFC banner since 2013 and scored key wins over Tom Breese, Ian Heinisch, Zak Cummings and Tim Boetsch in the past eight years.
