A head kick and two follow-up blows brought an end to the bout at the 3:50 mark of round one, giving “Jacare” his second career victory over Brunson.
Elsewhere, Drew Dober and Frank Camacho garnered “Fight of the Night” honors and $50,000 apiece for their entertaining welterweight scrap.
