Ultimate Fighting Championship on Monday announced the first set of bouts for the company’s next UFC on Fox event.
Three welterweight matchups and one heavyweight fight are now set for the show, which takes place July 23 at Chicago’s United Center. UFC has not yet announced a main event for the nationally televised main card.
Experienced Russian competitor Alexander Yakovlev will attempt to maintain his momentum in the 170-pound division when he faces once-beaten New Yorker Ryan LaFlare. Yakovlev has won back-to-back bouts and is already 1-0 on the year after his January knockout of George Sullivan.
