Randy Brown didn't come flying out of the gate in his first UFC fight with a spectacular flourish as did his fellow Looking for a Fight competitor, Sage Northcutt.
But the Jamaican welterweight by way of New Jersey did something impressive in his own right at UFC on FOX 18 in Newark on Saturday. Brown overcame a tentative start in the first round and turned it on over the last two to earn a 29-28 across the board victory over Canada's Matt Dwyer.
"This wasn't my best performance tonight, but I promise you I'm bringing the heat," said Brown (7-0).
