Chris Camozzi was hoping to tie a ribbon around a Cinderella-esque story tonight (Sat., April 18, 2015), stepping up on just six days notice to fight a far superior man, Ronaldo Souza, who strangled him in less than four minutes back in 2013.
No such luck.
Filling in for the injured Yoel Romero in the UFC on FOX 15 co-main event from Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., Camozzi was completely outclassed by the No. 1-ranked UFC Middleweight contender in the world ... again.
Jacare opened up with a thundering kick to the side, and then a hard straight right hand, that somehow didn't seem to faze Camozzi.
