Leon Edwards picked up the biggest win of his career tonight, largely controlling a dangerous but largely ineffective Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of UFC San Antonio. His use of lead elbows, surprising takedowns, and a left that consistently landed helped him take out the former lightweight champ, and put a stamp on his validity in a deep welterweight division.
It’s now time for Edwards to get a top-five fight. That became very clearly tonight with a 50-45 and two 49-46 cards.
