The Ultimate Fighting Championship's event in Fort Lauderdale has taken a big hit, as main eventer Yoel Romero has been forced to withdraw from his bout against Ronaldo Souza due to a reported illness.
According to Brazilian news site AGFight.com on Thursday, Romero (13-3) will no longer be facing Souza (26-6, 1 NC) at UFC on ESPN 3 on April 27 at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
