Frankie Edgar is ready for his UFC bantamweight debut.
The former lightweight champion and two-time featherweight title challenger tipped the scales at 135.5 pounds at Friday’s official weigh-ins for UFC on ESPN 15. That made Edgar’s fight with Pedro Munhoz (136) official for Saturday’s headliner at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
This marks Edgar’s first UFC appearance at bantamweight after spending the past seven years competing at 145 pounds.
Co-main event light heavyweights Ovince Saint Preux and Alonzo Menifield also successfully weighed in.
The main card got a shakeup as Daniel Rodriguez was rebooked against Dwight Grant in a welterweight bout.
